Today was my second MMA session. So fun but completely exhausting. The practicing part is okay and I’m fit enough to manage the physical training parts but as soon as we have sparring sessions (where we “fight” each other) I have no idea what I’m doing. But that will come. Everyone is really helpful and try to teach me how to get out of different situations so I’m trying to learn as quickly as possible. MMA sessions kind of feel the same as when I was dancing in the show group: training a couple times a week, practicing moves, challenging, steep learning curve, sore, bruised and exhausted but so much energy and fun! My knees are so sore. Next time I’m going to bring my knee pads I had when I was dancing. I noticed many of the others have them.
